Atwood is one of the area's smaller towns, located off State Route 36, primarily in Piatt County. The population is approximately 1,250.
Atwood is home to the Harris Agricultural Museum, the most authentic display of its type in the area. Exhibits include antique tractors, engines, and a 1919 Ford Model T grain dump truck. Soil, tillage, harvesting, and planting equipment are also on display.
