A drive to Rossville is a step back in time with its vintage street lights and Victorian homes lining Main Street. It may be a town of only 1,270 people, but it calls itself the "Village of Unusual Shops."
For the history buffs in our area, a walk through the Rossville Depot Railroad Museum will take you back to the 1950s' era of the Chicago and Eastern Illinois Railroad.
After that tour, move on to the Rossville Historical Museum. The military room alone will amaze you with its relics dating from the Revolutionary War.
