 Tolono, a small town (population approximately 2,600) located just south of Savoy and north of Pesotum does not have its own Web site, but many of its facilities do. The modern Tolono Public Library offers many programs for the town's residents, and even provides free use of a meeting room along with some other wonderful services.
The Tolono Park District, formed in 1975, is currently working on raising the money necessary to purchase the old Unity Junior High School property. The acreage would allow the park district to expand its services to the community.
Tolono is home to the Unit #7 School District, which serves the educational needs of the towns of Tolono, Philo, Sidney, Sadorus, and Pesotum.
