Urbana may be smaller than Champaign in size and population (36,400), but it is the city in which most of the University of Illinois facilities are located.

Urbana offers its residents some of the finest services around. It's home to two regional medical centers, and its school district has an extremely low student-to-teacher ratio of just 13:1. The town also boasts one of the lowest unemployment rates in Illinois at 3%. Municipal, organizational, and university Web sites do a wonderful job of providing online information about Urbana, so the remainder of this page will consist of a series of links to those sites.
